
Melting Brie with Caramelized Onions, Pear & Hazelnuts

1 ripe pear, thinly sliced

20 g crushed hazelnuts
|

15 ml maple syrup
|

1 tbsp honey (for finishing)

40 g Le Grec Onion Dip (for the center of brie)

10 g butter or oil for cooking onions

PREPARATION
- 1.Caramelize onions: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook 10–12 min until golden and tender. Add maple syrup, cook 2 more min.
- 2.Prepare brie: Cut brie horizontally in half.
- 3.Fill: Spread the Le Grec Onion dip on bottom half, add caramelized onions, pear slices, and hazelnuts. Cover with top half.
- 4.Cooking: Place in a small ovenproof dish, bake 10–12 min at 180 °C (350 °F) until warm and slightly melted.
- 5.Finish: Drizzle with honey just before serving, with toasted bread or crackers.
